Dbs ferrying service~

haha.. had fun at work yesterday.. actually our job's just promoting brand awareness by giving out flyers and parading down orchard.. but if it happens to rain, our job will be just to ferry people through the rain with our huge black umbrella. It was reallly fun though, i like running through the rain.. ha, and ivan was pretty amusing with his umbrella that failed him, although i din quite catch the scene.. quite a pity, must be really funny cos andy and junda laughed really hard.. ha.. only four of us volunteer to get wet though, keith and yuen li was busy giving phamplets outside somerset mrt.. but yeah, i hope it rains more next week if i get to work.. hope to see them again~! (^-^)

On my definition of cute~

ok, i think i often say guys are cute.. my juniors and prob some other school mates.. people defined cute as "ugly but adorable" and some just er "cute cute".. How about my definition?
If i ever say a guy's cute, it's obvious that i like him.. just in what sense?

category 1: he doesn't have to be good looking or what, just becos he's an option and a really nice guy he's cute

category 2: you know baby that kind of cute? So like he's really good looking.. eye candy etc.. oR he's just real funny as a person but not really good looking.. and for this category, the compliment just stay totally neutral. I have no ideas on him..

so what's my point of saying this, cos my group has two cute guys.. but hrm, just that one's in category 1 and the other in 2.

and also to my friends, even if i say a guy's cute that doesn't mean i'm into him~!

Dbs Roadshow

went for some dbs roadshow briefing today, tml will start working at orchard for the dbs roadshow.. my job scope's super simple, that is to stick with my group of 8 and walk along orchard to create brand awareness (in simple words, make people see you~! make them curious at what a group of 8 people in orange shirts are doing) I'll be working these three days and hopefully if performance is good, i can work more days.. i need money! And it's not really well paid la cos really short hours, about 6 hours a day.. ya, so if you see me walking down orchard road with 6 other guys(my group only 2 girls) in the outrageous orange shirt... pretend you don't know me ha.. or you can take a pamphlet from me but still pretend don't know me.. haha.. ok, i go watch tv le.. ciaoz~~!

old times..

spent half the day with ser and chyi around bugis today.. caught up on each other's life and discuss more uni stuff.. quite nice ar, haven talk crap with them for a long time.. and we spent just some 6 hours doing that today.. ser bought me both chyi and me stuff from thailand.. i got a black shirt and cute key chain, quite funny the keychain.. looks like a mummy haa.. and now we have plans to go thailand instead for a vacation trip.. sounds v exciting.. ha lots and lots of shopping~

Actually this raise is quite justified.. Our company did not hesitate to raise the prices as thats the best thing to do to earn more revenue.. Sure.. People would turn to piracy and thus resulting in a little dip in the revenue but it's still a minority.. Eventually, consumers would still realise that only the cinema is able to provide the ambience and surroundings for movie goers.. Such ambience and surroundings cannot be acheived by piracy.. On weekends, familys which usualy have outings to the cinemas usually, wont just say "Lets stay home and watch pirated movies".. They still would go the the cinemas even with the higher price.. See the point?

last day of work~!

ok these two days have been extremely sian.. all i can say i'm been paid extremely well to stone in the staff lounge.. yesterday i had no invigilation, spend the whole day trying to waste my life in school.. had some admin duties.. but we finished them say in less than half an hour? Den it's more stoning.. got so bored i actually slept a while on the sofa( today too) den at like 1, vp came and gave us stuff to mark. Den it was better.. i had 5 classes to mark while marc only has 2... so he managed to finish them by 2 while i have to leave it to today.. 5 classes meant 200+ scrips having 25 qns each.. 5000 qns~!! Go figures.. so this morning i cont marking, this time marc helped.. so finished them like at 8.45? after that slack whole day till 1.50.. sigh.. think i can't take easy jobs.. please give me lots of work to keep me occupied, i don't like been paid for nothing.

Next time i shall try to work as a construction worker.

me at work again..

Today something happened at invigilation.. one guy from 4/3 i think raised his hand and ask for a ruler.. so yeah, i asked his surrounding classmates if they have.. targeted the boy in front of him and asked, he rummaged through his pencil box for a while and passed me his ruler. Its was erm, pink in colour one side was straight and the other side floral patterns that can draw curvy lines kind.. You know, the girl girl kind of ruler that we have when we were kids.. but the best part is: it's only 5 cm long. I think it was broken, couldn't remember.. i only remember holding the ruler in shock and then showing his classmate behind who wanted it. Yes, then the look on that guy's face was so funny i tried so hard not to laugh.. within one sec he had this super sian diao -_-""" look haha.. in the end managed to get another ruler from this cheeky guy for him later.

So why did i say that this other guy is cheeky? cos throughout the whole test he's been smirking grinning to those sitting near him, lucky i din see him mouth stuff or i would have got him out.. but yeah, still a kid.. cute cute beng.. haha.. so still ok la, later still asked to go to the toilet. I brought another guy out to the toilet previously, he prob think i more easy going so asked me instead of the other teachers.. but i din agreed though ha, cos another guy was out with another teacher at toilet. So i signalled to the other teacher and she came over, this guy den gave me another ??~!?why?? look.. haha.. in the end waited for the other guy to come back before i walk him to the toilet.

Continued marking scripts after invigilation at staff lounge with marc, took me quite long to finish a class of 43 attempting 40 qns.. This is one of the better express class so the results were significantly better. Highest was 36 which was super good and i only have one failure.. though average was around 26 - 28.. but it's quite good for a bio paper..

den witness one of the more problematic kid coming near to blows with another guy along the corridor, luckily there were teachers pulling them apart.. and the stuff he said was quite childish.. "you think we sa gao(prob three nine in hokkien or 3 dog.. haha) nice to bully ar? - in chinese" *fists up in air waving madly past teacher who was pulling him* after some time, the commotion died.. according to marc, that guy had a record of smashing his hand through the windows during his class and would have been expelled from normal schools long ago.. but geylang methodist was a missionary school so the teachers and principal were more forgiving and believe he could change. Hopefully he does. =)

first day at work

woke up at like 5.15 today.. changed and went out at like 6, reach school sometimes before 7.. realise i'm super early cos marc only came at like 7.30 haha.. wandered around the school like some lost sheep until General office passed me my time table.. den went for a briefing on how to invigilate (like how to take attendence, collect paper?) er, it was complete idiot proof.. but the teachers were v v nice, maybe a little too concerned ha..

yeah, invigilate at the hall with 4 other teachers.. finally realise how sian my teachers have felt.. really v boring to walk up and down looking at oas and question paper.. my time table show that i only have to invigilate from 8 to 9.45 den i was free for the whole day. Spend the rest of my time helping vp check the attendence registers.. got so tired i think my brain a bit dead.. haha, i can't believe i actually tot a toilet with a male picture and the word staff can be used. Walk in saw the urinal den yeah, realise a bit wrong ar.. walk straight out.. lucky no one inside.. :P found another one with a female picture and word staff. Next time just write male and female can, sometimes teacher use brain too much cannot differentiate picture.

after doing the register thing for the whole of the day, i helped marc mark the oas (the machine weren't working). Both of us were like.. hai, what are the students doing.. 30 quesions only 4 correct.. average mark was like 10 11.. only 3 person pass in a class of 43.. but quite fun, i like marking.. (^-^)

went back to amex with weiting to visit vivian and co.. stay for 2 hours plus before we left.. cos cannot tahan.. keep wanting to sleep.. it's seven plus now only and i'm sleepy.. blog another time.. zzz

finally resume driving after one month.. the last lesson i had was on the 15 of april? Luckily the techniques still there, haven lost the touch.. but turning became a little bad for crank.. yucks.. my first prac test's on this sat.. so today and tml lessons will be my last revisions before i bring my little black face tester on a short journey.. ha, gotta pray that he will have a safe trip.. else it's another three hundred bucks gone.. no more $$, ya still dunno whether interview on tml not.. maybe principal decided to give up.. ha.. ;P

have an interview on monday at geylang methodist sec, kinda nervous.. if everything goes well, i'll be taking over ser's class for the next 4 days while she's in bangkok holidaying.. haven heard what i'm supposed to teach yet, don't even know which level i'm supposed to relief.. still think i will 'hai' them.. hah.. not like my results are fantastic.. just wanna go try and see how teaching actually feels like. Anyway, heard exams should be over for most sec schools.. hope it's just baby sitting. (^-^) - lazy me.. but yeah, think i should start reading the textbooks again in case the principal ask me stuff on them. *nightmare*

have been sleeping later and later each day.. yesterday only managed to fall asleep at like 4 plus.. and i went to bed like 2.. kinda watching the night crawl through, at the same time there was a thunder storm last night at my house.. the wind was super strong but i deliberately left part of my window open.. forgot when was the last time i heard the plattering of rain or even felt that spine chilling wind.. feels great though.

and it just made me not wan to sleep even more.. dunno why every time i close my eyes, my mind can't stop thinking.. uni, future, job him everything.. eventually i just tire out from staring and slept.. waking up more tired than ever..

On my new craze, Li yAng~!

Went with siew to juping's childcare again. This time the kids were more enthu, they came crowding around us when we went in.. hah.. felt like superstars.. spend like 5 10 mins trying to coax a new girl who just came in but to no avail.. she just kept screaming for her mum.. hAh, but i think she stopped after one of the teachers brought her somewhere.. din see her after that cos was busy trying to distract my fav Li yang from his class.. lucky his parents are not around haha.. or else sure get scolded.. anw, Li yang is this adorableeeeeyy cuteeee little boy who's like erm only 1 plus? Doesn't really know how to talk, only knows how to say ma ma.. he always sit on my lap and try to talk to me in sign language.. ha, but he's really sweet.. very guai.. den ask him do what he will do.. haa, the other time i just keep making him drink his bottle and he listened (his teacher's instruction for him to drink - not mine) and today he just sat there let me take photo with my hp.. so cute, he was wondering who's the kid in the screen. Hope to get the pic up here soon~! suPER cUtEeeee.. ha, sounds like i'm a paedophile..

Later in the evening accompanied chyi to paragon hollywood's secret for brow shaping, not bad i guess but looks painful cos the woman was tugging at some parts ha.. and i guess i could do those myself.. paying someone 12 bucks to do it like not very worth it.. considering i do it properly though.. tml gOing to watch the juniors at toa payoh for finals.. looking forward for the final show down bet the champs finalist.. k, update tml.. =)
