too many things too little time..

ever since i came uni, i seem to be packed with activities everyday.. maybe it's the culture or it's just me.. i realised i have so little time to share with tHAT many people.. for a week of seven days i'm in hall for five days.. in which these five days, i have to spread my time among my ex teammates, my best buddies, my foc camp members, my faculty classmates o group members and hall stuff.. and when i finally get home for the weekends i hardly get to talk to my mum and dad and update them on how i am.. just for this two days i'm prob home to sleep and some time for a short lunch or breakfast before i'm out again with other commitments..

just now, my parents drove all the way from home to pass me my handphone charger(just becos i told them i forgot about it).. it was totally unexpected since it was such a trival matter that i would have hate to bother them with it.. i feel guilty, the most substantial time i've spent with them would be that half to one hour on the car.. dinner etc for this whole week..

this isn't supposed to be the way..

long awaited post

realised i haven been blogging for quite a while.. and there's just too much stuff i did for the past week.. ha last friday we had finale for our o week, all the groups spent the afternoon preparing for a skit to be presented at night and becos i had hall rag cheering session i could only join my group in the evening. Din really spare me from the performance ha, had a super super extra role in my group's skit.. shan't explain much just that i felt pretty embarrassed and retarded after the whole thing.. but i guess it ended well.. there were a prize ceremony and my village got the best village award. Think they deserved it ha.. all of them super enthusiastic for the whole orientation..

after this long night, i went with biaoge for rag the next morning.. this is the first time i saw rag and i have to agree with the judges that sheares and science ones are nicer than that of Temasek this year.. feel sad for temasek since this year is the first time for the past few years that they din even win anything. NOt even the smallest award.. heard that the seniors comm guys cried and alot alot girls were crying.. guess i was lucky i had to rush off to sentosa else i think i will have difficulty staying tear-less..

sentosa was ok that day, din get to play much till the later part of the day.. me and chu hui were the vases of the day ha.. i remembered the bengs though. Thought they were really funny.. i kept laughing throughout the game.. their humour is prob a mixture of lame + childishness, but mainly its because most of them look older than their age so when they act kiddy it's really funny.. after sentosa was dinner at swensens, food not bad as usual and i ate my childhood favorite (still a favorite now ha) ice cream - class vanilla crunchie cone..

and then on the next day, we went jiali's house! the food was fabulous.. i love the or-ni! (yam paste.. ) maybe i should go make some myself and store them in the fridge in hall.. can eat any time i wan.. after her place we went to settlers to play board games and have dinner.. first time with munchkin.. not bad v fun ha..

first week of school was fine.. lecture was normal.. cept that i thought the introductory lectures were pretty boring.. they brought in a lot irrelevant stuff.. since it was a no tutorial week so i had only a two day week.. still ok i guess.. but i was busy everyday.. dunno why.. think i have to start settling my priorities right..

finally, too bored to be true.. supposed to be helping my hall group for rag now but i can't seem to find any of them hah.. messaged 2 ogls and one of my fren but none replied. Is that a coincidence or all of them just decided to ignore me.. just finished bidding for all my mods today. Checked my Qet results and realised that i need to take the mod.. sad, but that will be in Sem 2. Is that a good news? So by right, if i get all my modules tonight.. and i manage to get the right tutorials my timetable will be super good.. as planned. Three day week. haha.. mon and thur off.. These two days should be my homework days. (^-^)

Yesterday was flag day, prob the first outing i have with my hall orientation group.. ha, glad to say all of them are nice people.. and kbox was really entertaining.. the kind of songs they picked. And some of them even re-enact the mtvs out haha.. i was laughing my lungs out at the comical version of tong hua... but me and gab left early cos the others were on for extending the kbox sesson - i was just not really on for singing haha.. went home after that to bring some stuff and groceries.. at night me mum and dad allowed me to drive to hall! ha, dad says he have a weak heart taking my car.. me mum and younger sis just came along to watch me drive.. first time on the expressway.. not that hard actually. and i did a perfect parking again ha. One time in. =) but no car on one side ha.. so happy.. wanna drive more..

2 hours to go before dinner. better find something to do.. zzz
