was alone at work yesterday.. normally on weekends there were be 3 part times like me working together to cope with the crowd.. but on exceptional days like yesterday, no one could make it except for me. Basically i work non stop for the whole night, having to attend the whole restaurant myself.. and i was pleasantly surprised that one of the kitchen stuff actually helped me clear the plates on a few occasion, a few times intercepting me to take my stuff to the sink so i could do lesser. It would seem normal if anyone helps, since i was slogging away. But cos he's the one that always make me do lots of stuff and after working for months my name to him is still NU REN(woman). hahaa.. i was thinking actually he quite teng wo also la.. den always v fierce. During supper time, he was like " so fast eat liao!? " suspecting i din eat. :D
action speaks louder than words.

stoning in the lib now.. can't seem to get stuff into my head for the test tml grr.. what kind of module is this.. yesterday was xbm's 20th bday.. Happy birthday again! ha hope you have a great day.. we'll see you soon!
lots of things happen during the week.. two granduncles passed away.. one on my grandma's side the other on my grandpa side.. had to go for my grandpa's side one since we were direct nephews and niece.. and partly cos my granduncle did not have any male grandsons. So my brother was the representative.. and the funny thing was i met two other cousins(tang ge) which i've never seen in my life at the wake.. both of which are in Nus Engin.. yr one yr 3.. funny right ha.. can have biao ge tang ge gathering at engin some day..
work more last week too.. bg and mum's nagging alot about it.. saying i shouldnt work during school time.. but ya, i know what's important and what's not so yeah.. will be working less as more work comes... just need the extra cash for some stuff.. like ah pui's food haha.. she used to pay me a visit once in like 3-4 days.. now i see her 3-4 times in a day if i'm in my room.. funny eh, and i dun feed her so many times.. at most once a day.. and she fell asleep on my table the other day! fell asleep watching me play with my laptop.. ha so funny.. will upload the pic if i can..
vday was ok, spent with frens and family lor.. and being the non-crowd-loving person i am.. i went out Reluctantly with biaoge admist all the lovey dovey huge crowd in suntec hah.. tried carl's junior! don't think the meal was huge anw.. but quite ex ba.. burger king will do as good act..
back to serious business.. i hope i don't flunk this paper.

ah pui's back
ha after a month of mia from me in hall, i reckon ah san and ah pui doesn't recognize me anymore.. ah san became more of a cat of eusoff since i've been seeing him in there more than in th.. but ah pui pay me a visit last night! ha, she prob doesn't recognize me but she seems to recognize the packet of food that i always give her.. sniffing at the packet excitedly.. after eating the food and taking some water she climbed up my chair and sat there. Then she started hiccupping! hhaha, i din know cats hiccup.. at first i stared.. den the second time she did it i started laughing like mad.. tts so funny.. sure help me relax after a day's work..
was working at holland after lesson.. my supervisior (some new guy that's extremely unpopular with the other chefs) is getting more and more tiko! This time even suggesting that i give him english tuition.. don't need to go his house.. void decks will do? crazy... hope thurs manager's around instead of him.. cannot tahan..
sun's trip to the zoo was fun! i love carlos the performing sealion... he's so playful! hah, like a big kid out.. we interviewed the zookeeper that trained him and went on to watch other sealions as well.. this other male sealion was extremely cute too!! Kept doing alot of stuff to attract attention so the zookeeper would give him more fish.. if only i can get a job in the zoo during the hols! it'll be fun taking care of these animals.. orh, and we din get to see hyenas that we initially wanted to do. They are all kept in the night safari.. ha, too bad.. sealions should do the job.
okies, back to studying.. add oil..

Fearless
watched Fearless.. one thing i don't understand is why so many girls esp think it's just boring action flick.. my female cousin, my mum, my aunt.. i'm pro action flicks.. gimme a literature flim which i've to use my brain i'll think it's rather tiring.. i like fearless.. maybe cos i grew up liking jet li's movies.. wong fei hong, fang shi yu.. blah blah.. i love them all.. you know, when he's in a chinese robe and pigtail there's this charisma and 威严 that just weren't present in those other hollywood movies he starred in.. Maybe it's just speech.. Hearing him say 'Bi zui!' instead of 'Shut up' sounds more right.. Anw, i din expect the ending.. so i had to grab lots of tissue to wipe the tears that were dropping like nobody's business..
go catch it if you haven.. if you're those that flinch at blood and injuries den maybe fun with dick and jane will serve well..

week's piece
had a buzzing week since my last post.. new year was fun, cos i unexpectedly started mahjonging with my aunts and uncles.. so it wasn't as boring as last year's.. saturday was reunion dinner over my ah ma's place(dad side), had snail speed steamboat the entire night.. din eat much, ended up eating the cooked food that was around..
first day of cny: half an hour at my ah ma's place and we went over to my grandma's.. gambled for the whole day.. heh i won 30 bucks from mahjong! playing at stakes 20/40 cents? my uncles call it beginner's luck ha.. cos i din win alot times.. but when i do, my tiles are all super big..
second day of cny; for my mum's side, second day of lunar new year is considered the big day.. for dialect hakka.. so we had a grand feast at my grandma's place.. all the wu xiang, sotong balls, prawn fritters, duck, chicken... super nice.. ha.. den it was more gambling till night when we lao yu sheng.. we had three little kids joining us for it and the result was lots of yusheng on my hand, table everywhere haa..
third day of new year: went back to hall at around three. Went back to ycy to work for the day, high pay ma.. 1.5 times.. and i received two angbaos! one from the company and one from the big chef.. not bad.. but was pretty tired when i went back hall.. the crowd was really bad since public hol, chu san and no other place in holland v's open..
fourth day of cny; school start! overslept for my ten am lecture.. den lesson till 4pm before i went back hall to change and meet kevin xyz wenjun at src at 5. IFG tabletennis trials started at 6.. but it wasn't really a trial.. the captain merely watched us play.. and den challenged by kevin.. wenjun left early while we had weiqi this year 4 lab ta join us till 8 at night.. after which me kev yz and her went over to munchie for dinner.. ate quite alot of stuff.. i ate one plate of carbonara and one big slab of garlic cheese bread.. haha.. the rest ate quite lot too, mostly carbonara and pizza.. and this ultra sweet choco mixed strawberry milkshake.. sat there and talked crap till munchie closes at 10... went back hall did my 1104 tut and assignment. k.O.
today: dragged myself outta bed at 9am and went home at 10.. chyi and ser came over my house at 11 to bai nian.. after which ser left for town to meet alex and chyi stayed with me till 2.. then both of us part at my house bus stop, she headed for town for last min shopping before her flight tml and me back to school for tut.. had tut from 3-5.. rushed down to holland v to start work at 5.30.. recieved two more ang baos today! though the pay was as per normal.. but got angbao v good le.. reached hall at 11.25pm..
dead beat.
and i still have tut stuff to do. zzzz
