time now is 3.50am in the morning, 6 hrs later i'm to reach science park fuji xerox for a briefing for my admin job.. and no i'm not so excited about it that i can't get to sleep but i'm struggling to do my 3265 tutorial.. its only the first tut and i'm already having trouble.. seems like econs and business combined really kills.. 7 long questions is really long! sigh, and i still have labs coming up.. feels tired already ha..
not to mention that i've been an injury and illness prone baby for the week, lost my footing on the steps(cos my slippers' grip wore off) on fri and hit my leg against the steps.. now there's a really big bump on my leg.. ha but lucky no one saw.. then sun when i was trying to move off on my rollar blades i accidentally knocked my knee against a stone chair hah.. after which i had an unbearable headache for the night after the bbq.. so weak!
like my mum nags.. eat less heaty food, drink more water and sleep early.
hah i'll try.

soc ball 19th Aug - aRE you nAughty or niCe
went for the ball on sat at conrad centennial hotel with renzhi and his fow gang, it was quite worth the money. $15 dollars for unlimited spread of teatime pastries and food.. i think both renzhi and me are probably the only ones who ate non stop throughout the whole event ha.. spring rolls, cheese cakes, teppanyaki sticks, sushi, siew mai...
and surprisingly the greedy both of us who were made to dance before hand, won prizes in the lucky draw each! Renzhi won the 15th? 14th? prize i think while i won the 5th prize. And the funny thing was that, Renzhi was commenting that i haven won anything from the lucky draw yet and they called my number next. haha.. think i nearly spit my sushi out when i was called..
will post the picture of the watch up once i get my camera back.. a very nice solvil titus watch worth a hundred bucks.. went to the chain to have the strap color changed to red (it was originally beige, my family thinks it clash with my fair skin ha) and still, trying hard to get used to wearing it.. i'm so not a watch person! haven wore one since sec 1 haha..
oh well kudos for computing club for organising such a great event.. prizes and food were great, the place had great atmostphere too.. (nice dance floor for couples to whizz to the slow music...) and did i mention first prize for lucky draw was a Ipod~? hahah.. k don't make those who missed it regret.
make sure you come for the next one then! =)

astro-palmistry
i had my palm read today! such interesting findings.. although he was extremely vague in alot of points.. but still spot on at least.. the person said that i am someone who knows how to enjoy life.. and my boyfriend must not be STINGY.. hahaha.. quite true ar, i really cannot stand stingy guys.. note the difference between stingy and thrifty tho. And when i mean not stingy i don't mean guys who go around showering people with notes. That's extravagant.. there should be a balance somehow.. he touched on quite alot of stuff about me love life and career too but i tot i shouldn't go around spreading it ha. cheerio
on a brighter note from the previous gloom
i saw my eyecandy today, doing a corner kick at one of the src court.
and i was walking along that pavement beside the side of the court heading towards the busstop along aye..
so he was just standing beside me! funny how he can look so intimidating in person ha.
i'm so lookin forward to ifg this year again. (^-^)

first week of school
everyone's back in school after a long 3 months break, luckily all in one piece.
And after two days of lecture worth lessons only, my project 'pay attention in lect' failed badly today. haah.. first two hours is the morn was alright but genes and soc managed to get my attention for only 1.5 hours.. for which the last 15 mins i felt drowsy and nth went in.
this is bad. i think my attention span for lectures is only 1.5 hrs max.. 2 hrs lect is really really too long for me. So far on tue both lectures lasted exact 1.5 hrs. So was the first lect today, second lect was genes. and i walked out a zombie.
and the bad news is i've THREE LECTS IN A ROW tml!!! **gasps** 6hrs of lesson.. i foresee a sleepin marathon.. hahaa.. i hate it when i can't make myself stay awake, cos its really more tiring to doze for 5 10 mins. really really.
aside from these, i did something i regret today.. went for NUSSU CBLC interview thinking it was an interview for the job.. but unfortunately it was a jOB with EXTRA requirements.. we were actually interviewing for a place in the committee.. and blurry me din know wats happening and i choose marketing.. during the interview they told me i've to commit whole of this sem to finding sponsors for their year end project some cyberia? camp?? a huge event supposedly whereby whole of nus can join.. and now i'm regretting.. cos i don't even know much about the event! and i don't like taking things on with zero confidence.
this is bad, i think i should pull out.. wouldn't be such a headache if i won't get it.. but they sound like they wan me becos i've links to funka marketing..
should have found out more beforehand.
arghh.

so conflicting. i'm not trying to find excuse for calling myself that, i was trying to fit into my happy family or royal relatives...

its 1am and i'm still drinking my horlicks made some hour ago (still warm).
i got frightened by cockroaches 4 times today.
heard myself whine and then tot that was so girly.
i went shopping alone in chinatown.
victorious items: 3 shirts n 3 lingerie.
i find office wear and short hair uber attractive suddenly.
i ate alone at the biggest Han's along pickering street
i forgot what i wanted to blog initially.. argh.

on impulse
tml is my day off.. and i've this super strong urge to cross the damn causeway by means of public transport for a day of retail therapy... but my pay ain't anywhere to be seen yet.. its not like i earn alot.. but i just feel much happier to know my money doubles over the other greeny..
but but...
its not safe to go alone.. as much as i wish.. unless i keep from my mum that i'll be travelling over...
